Jammed Button Making Machine? Let us help you with that!

Does your Tecre button maker machine look like this one pictured below?  Don’t panic!  This is a typical machine jam, and is most often caused by either loading too many parts or using too thick of paper material in the button machine.   When this happens the button maker locks up, and you would be unable to separate the upper and lower die.Button Maker Machine - Tecre - Machine JamTo help you alleviate this issue, follow the steps outlined below as “DO”.  We also have gathered some ideas of things you should not try when resolving a button machine jam.

    but I have 1″ button maker and the upper die is larger than the bottom, no real good lip to hit. how do you unstick a 1″ button maker.

    Thanks, that totally worked. Now, however, every time I use it it jams? What can I do to resolve this?

      Hmmm, are you sure there is nothing still left in that upper die? (Sometimes there can be multiple shells, mylar, etc.) If the problem persists, please call Tecre at (920)922-9168 for service assistance! Thank you!
